Introduction to ECPINS®
This course introduces the student to ECPINS, by addressing topics such as what it is and what it looks like. The student will learn how the operator can use ECPINS to accomplish the essential: monitoring the ship’s progress relative to a route and the surroundings. Lessons covered in this course include:

- Introduction to using ECPINS
- Vessel simulation in ECPINS
- Adjusting the display
- Own-ship display
- Supporting navigation
- Enroute monitoring
