OSI Geospatial Signs U.S. Coast Guard Contract Valued at US$1 Million
Ottawa, Ontario-OSI Geospatial Inc. (TSX: OSI) announced today that its U.S. Systems Operations has signed a contract valued at approximately U.S. $1.0 Million with the United States Coast Guard (USCG). Under the terms of the contract, the company will provide a hardware upgrade to the ECPINS® Navigation Systems installed on the USCG Buoy Tender Fleet. The work is estimated to be completed in the next three months.
“The USCG is a valued customer and we are pleased that our relationship continues to strengthen. We have been working with this customer for many years and currently have navigation systems installed on 41 USCG vessels,” said Ken Kirkpatrick, president and CEO of OSI Geospatial. “The USCG has more than 250 vessels in their fleet and we are committed to growing our business with this very important customer.”
