OSI wins $830,000 contract to equip Danish Home Guard patrol vessels with electronic chart navigation systems
Vancouver, Canada — Offshore Systems International Ltd. (TSX: OSI/ OTCBB: OFSYF) has been awarded a new contract for $830,000 to equip the 800 class Danish Home Guard fleet with its world-leading electronic chart navigation systems. This new business for patrol vessels follows an order OSI received last year to outfit six of the Home Guards’ newly-constructed 900 class fleet.
“This order is for immediate delivery and clearly shows the support for OSI technology in Denmark,” said Ken Kirkpatrick, President and CEO. “We have grown our relationship with the Danish Navy from navigation systems, into command and control systems, and now into the Danish Home Guard. We are beginning to see this type of customer expansion in many of our markets and the company is well positioned to capitalize on the momentum that is building.”
