Ken Kirkpatrick
President and CEO
Kenneth Kirkpatrick is President and CEO of OSI Geospatial and has been since November 2005. Ken joined OSI Geospatial in May 2001 and held the position of Chief Operating Officer. He has successfully developed and executed the company’s growth strategy through the expansion of the OSI Geospatial product offerings and customer base and through strategic acquisitions. Prior to OSI Geospatial, Ken held the position of Chief Operating Officer of Triathlon Limited, a geospatial services subsidiary of MacDonald, Dettwiller and Associates, where he played a pivotal role in Triathlon’s aggressive growth. Prior to joining Triathlon, Ken was Vice President, International Operations of Geotrain Corporation, at the time one of world’s largest independent training organization for Cisco Systems. Ken has extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions and has directly managed several acquisitions from identification and negotiations through to closure and integration.
John Sentjens
Chief Financial Officer
John Sentjens is the Chief Financial Officer of OSI and has been since September 2007. John joined OSI Geospatial in July 2001 and held the position of Vice President Finance. In his current role he provides leadership in the development of financial objectives, programs, and strategies to meet the long and short-term goals of OSI. John brings nearly 30 years of financial, consulting and operational experience along with a unique depth of knowledge in computer technology. He has worked in both publicly traded and private high-tech companies experiencing rapid growth. Prior to OSI, John was Controller for Triathlon Ltd., a geospatial services subsidiary of MacDonald Dettwiller and Associates, where, in addition to his duties as Controller, he directed the financial systems transitions of a number of acquired companies. John also held Controllership positions with Geotrain Corporation and the PSC Group. John is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo.
Dr. Wayne Zachary
VP and GM, U.S. Operations
Dr. Wayne Zachary is the VP & General Manager of OSI’s U.S. Operations and has been since December 2005. Prior to this position, he was the President of CHI Systems which he founded in 1986. CHI Systems was acquired by OSI Geospatial in December 2005. Wayne has over 28 years of experience in the U.S. defense industry and he is a recognized leader in human issues associated with the design and analysis of interactive information and decision support systems. Wayne has lectured and published extensively on cognition, computing, and cooperation. He developed the widely-used COGNET framework and he has applied this framework with great success for many military command and control applications. Wayne has been developing and delivering leading edge technology solutions to the U.S. military for over 20 years.
Wayne Hoyle
VP and GM, International Operations
Wayne Hoyle is the VP & General Manager of OSI’s International Operations and has been since July 2006. He joined OSI in 1991 and has held several senior business development and operational management positions with the company. Wayne has over 20 years of experience in the international naval market and has been instrumental in the development and implementation of OSI’s naval strategy. Wayne has led the development of the UK Naval market and successful closed the two largest contracts in the company’s history. The company’s success with the UK Navy has been a key driver in establishing OSI as a leader in the naval navigation market.
Marcos Riano
VP and GM, Mapping Operations
Marcos Riano is the VP & General Manager of OSI’s Mapping Operations and has been since November 2007. Marcos joined OSI Geospatial in May 2002 and held the position of Director of Operations. He has been critical to the development and implementation of OSI’s mapping operations growth strategy. Prior to joining OSI, Marcos was with Triathlon Limited, a geospatial services subsidiary of MacDonald, Dettwiller and Associates. During his time at Triathlon he held several senior business development and operational management positions. Marcos has over 25 year of experience in the international mapping industry.
