Since 1977 we have pioneered systems and software for real-time geospatial situational awareness. We develop next generation software for military C3I: command, control, communications, and intelligence applications as well as for advanced battle space visualization techniques.

Current complex weapons systems necessitate more powerful computer systems and more efficient applications to run simulations and mission planning. In addition, the modern soldier needs tools to share information between themselves and their commanders in real time. Our Common Operational Picture Product Line and C3Core applications address the growing demands of the emerging net-centric battle space.

Common Operational Picture Product Line
Our Common Operational Picture Product Line (COP PL) integrates information from a variety of geospatial data sources – such as land maps, nautical charts, photo imagery, and tactical military information – into a single combined display with a live sensor data.

The map, image, and tactical display capabilities of our COP tools allow intelligence analysts, war fighters, military operators, battle commanders, and selected government departments to view simultaneously, in real-time, geospatial and tactical awareness data from many different sources in a single picture. The community of users calls this a “common operational picture” and it enables a shared understanding of the terrain and the deployment of forces. The software’s open API simplifies integration with existing systems and the development of custom applications, which include situational awareness, command and control, mission planning, mobile asset management, and joint operations.

COP PL has completed successful participation in Coalition Warrior Interoperability Demonstrations (CWID). Test sites included U.S. Northern Command at Colorado Springs, the Naval Surface Warfare Center at Dahlgren, the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) in San Diego, and the Electronic Systems Center at Hanscom AFB. The COP software was accessible to all 26 countries and by multi-agency participants over a secure, classified CWID network. C3 Core
C3Core is a completely object-oriented, service-based software suite that allows users to pick and choose a variety of command and control (C2) and battle space visualization functions for re-use within third-party C2 software applications. Used to rapidly create map-based C2 applications, C3Core provides the war fighter with fully integrated and scalable decision support capability for network-centric, distributed operations. Our newest product, SUSA: Small Unit Situational Awareness system for the dismounted soldier is based on this technology.

C3Core has five major product areas: Integrated C4I, Netted Fires, Map Server, Situational Awareness and Terrain Server. Its plug-and-play, component-based software facilitates rapid deployment and easier scalability and modification.

C3Core architecture and components are used by the U.S. Marine Corps; Space & Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWAR); U.S. Army Research, Development & Engineering Command (ARDEC); General Dynamics; and Northrop Grumman.
